Financial Assistance

To apply for financial assistance, please complete and submit the application.

Prescription Refills

Requests for prescription refills should be made during routine office hours and will generally be handled within 24 – 48 hours.

Refill requests will not be taken after regular business hours. Please request prescription refills two weeks prior to finishing your medication.

Mail Order Prescription Refills

If you are established with a mail order prescription company Georgia Family Medicine can now e-prescribe or fax prescriptions using a special form.

Please let our staff know if you prefer mail order prescriptions.

Prior Authorizations for Medication

In order to be approved for prior authorization, you must take your prescription to your preferred pharmacy to have them run it through their individual drug plan electronically. The pharmacist will forward all information to Georgia Family Medicine staff who will then contact the insurance agency. This ensures we have all accurate contact information on the drug plan.
